A Selection Opportunity For Serious Athletes
About The Team
The Highest Level
Of Our Program.
The OilCats represent the top tier of the Shadow Cats pathway — not a participation team, but a selection-based roster for athletes ready to compete beyond weekly training. Selection is based on skill, lacrosse IQ, competitiveness, and commitment.
Players are developed, evaluated, and advanced based on readiness — not just age.
Premier Competition
Compete in premier national and international box lacrosse events.
High-Performance Training
Train in an elite-level environment, both locally and at home rinks.
Advanced Systems
Learn advanced systems, strategy, and positional play.
National Platform
Represent the NLL unBOXed platform as part of a recognized development pipeline.
The Pathway
Every Player Starts Somewhere.
OilCats sits at the top of a three-step development pathway. Most players start at Shadow Cats and work their way up as they're ready.
Step One
Shadow Cats Training
Sunday Skills, year-round, grouped by grade.
Step Two
Shadow Cats Competitive Play
Tournaments and summer scrimmage leagues.
Step Three · You Are Here
